Hi Everyone!
When we first dreamed up the OurCatholicKitchen blog, it wasn’t just about recipes or sharing pretty photos of meals we made at home. It was about creating a space that reflects our life, our faith, and our love for gathering around the table. Cooking together has always been a huge part of our story. Some of our best conversations happen in the kitchen, with flour on the counter and something simmering on the stove.
Our hope for this blog is to share more than just what we’re eating. We want to share the why behind it all. Food has a beautiful way of bringing people together, and for us, it’s tied to our journey as a family rooted in Traditional Catholic life. We love the quiet rhythm of cooking meals at home, hosting friends, and celebrating feast days or simple Sunday dinners that feel sacred in their own way.

This blog is also our way of documenting the journey we’re on as we grow together in faith, in marriage, and now, as we prepare to welcome our little boy. Life moves quickly, and we wanted a corner of the internet to capture these moments while sharing inspiration with others who love cooking, family, and faith as much as we do.
Our faith naturally flows into the meals we prepare. So much of Catholic life revolves around the table, whether it’s the Eucharist at Mass or a simple family meal at home. Cooking together reminds us of the beauty of service and hospitality. Every meal becomes a small act of love, a chance to nourish one another not just physically, but spiritually through care, intention, and togetherness.
If you’re here, we hope you’ll feel like you’re pulling up a chair at our table. We want to invite you into our kitchen, share our favorite recipes, and talk about the traditions that make our home and our faith feel so alive.
Thank you for being here and supporting this little corner of our hearts. We can’t wait to keep sharing the stories, meals, and moments that mean so much to us.
With love,
Emilie and Stephen
